Students and teachers met in the multi-Purpose Centre this morning to celebrate the diversity of cultures making up the BAC community. The idea was initiated by a group of students from the Class of 2022 and coordinated by Mr Greenwell-Smith (Primary) and Mrs Hassan (Secondary). In the 55th anniversary year of the school, Brisbane Adventist College embraced the future with the opening on Tuesday 7 December of eight newly refurbished general-purpose Secondary classrooms. Indigenous artwork included in official school logos
Next year’s graduating class is even more excited than usual about wearing the Year 12 jersey. Artwork created by Year 11 Noongar woman Shakana Foley will be featured on the armband of the 2022 design. Inspired by visiting Olympian
Proud BAC graduate Simon Leung has been a little busy since completing his studies in 2013. Recently, it all paid off when he represented Australia in badminton at the Tokyo Olympics. Simon has been playing competitive badminton since 2005 when he was just nine years old. Since then, he has practiced and played for countless hours to qualify for the Olympics.
