Proudly Adventist

A collective rebranding of South Queensland Adventist Schools

A message from Seventh-day Adventist Schools (South Queensland) Ltd.

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (South Queensland) is excited to announce that each of our seven schools across South Queensland will be adopting new branding, and in some cases new names, to create a consistent brand and identity. The new branding will overtly acknowledge our Adventist heritage, and celebrate our proud history of delivering quality, affordable, Christian education in South Queensland.

Who We Are

A consistent brand and identity will mean all our schools in South Queensland will include the word Adventist in their name and adopt the formal branding in the Adventist Schools’ style guide. This will make clear who we are as a school system, including our distinctive beliefs and values. The day-to-day experience of our students and staff will not change. Our schools will remain the great centres of learning that have our students’ learning and wellbeing at the centre of all we do.

Our 'New' Logo Explained

An important part of a consistent brand and identity is a common logo. The ‘new’ logo to be adopted across all our schools is in fact the longstanding logo of Adventist Education that has been used in Australia and across the world for some time. It will be new to those whose schools have been using other logos, and below is a brief description of the logo elements. This logo is highly symbolic, but it accurately reflects our key beliefs and the purpose of our global Adventist Education system.

New Branding

Each school will incorporate the logo into a standardised name banner that is true to our formal style guide. BAC's new logo is below:

The Impact of These Changes

These changes, while very important are essentially ‘aesthetic’, and the nature, operations, and positive culture of our schools will not change – they will remain thriving, Christ-centred learning communities that strive for academic, personal and spiritual growth in each student. Including Adventist in the name of each school, simply reflects our Adventist identity and connects us to the global Adventist educational system – the biggest Protestant education system in the world, with over 9,000 institutions and more than 2 million enrolments.
