Scholarships, Awards, and Support

We are have a range of scholarships and awards available to support families and recognise student achievements. Support is also available for eligible students from the Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation (QATSIF).

Scholarships and Awards
Excel Academic Scholarship

One academic scholarship is awarded to the student who achieves the highest summative performance across all subjects in their Year (Years 6-11) and is worth a 30% discount on the following year's Tuition Fees.

Another academic scholarship is awarded to the student who achieves the second-highest summative performance across all subjects in their Year (Years 6-11) and is worth a 20% discount on the following year's Tuition Fees.

Sportsperson of the Year

This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding sporting success and involvement in a range of sporting activities across the year. Awardees are chosen from Primary (male and female), Secondary Junior (male and female), and Secondary Senior (male and female) students. This scholarship is worth 15% off the following year's Tuition Fees, and a playing kit.

Ross Vasta Sport Achievement Award

This award is given to students who excel in a particular field of sport throughout the year. Awardees are chosen from Primary (male and female) and Secondary Junior (male and female) students. The award is worth 7.5% off the following year's Tuition Fees, the Sport Levy for the following year, and a playing kit.

Sportsmanship and Team Culture Award

This award is given to students to recognise outstanding contributions to sport throughout the year. Awardees are chosen from Primary and Secondary students. The award is worth 7.5% off the following year's Tuition Fees.

Support
Support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students

The Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation (QATSIF) provides support of $500 per semester in Years 11 and 12. This support is funded through interest on Stolen Wages monies held in trust by the Public Trustee.
