We are pleased to offer students the opportunity to learn from expert musicians across a range of instruments, as well as voice and music theory through our Instrumental Music Program. This program is extra-curricular and is offered in addition to our curricular music program.
Private music tuition is currently available in the following areas:

Instrumental Music Lessons are 30 minutes long, and operate in term blocks and arrangements are made directly between families and their Instrumental Music Tutor.

Families are invoiced for Instrumental Music Lessons each term by their Tutor. All term fees are to be paid upfront at the prior to the start of term. If the invoice remains unpaid, Instrumental Lessons will cease immediately. Once payment is brought up-to-date, if a timeslot is still available, lessons may recommence.
All students learning through our Instrumental Music Program are encouraged to work towards involvement in one of our String Ensembles. The Tutor will communicate with families when a suitable standard has been achieved for participation. We also welcome students enrolled in external music programs to express interest in joining an ensemble. Please contact our Instrumental Music Coordinator for more information.
Primary String Ensemble
Rehearsals: 7:20am to 8:20am, Wednesday
Location: MPC Music Room
Instruments: violin, viola, cello, double bass
Primary and Secondary Choirs
Rehearsals: Weekday lunchtime
Location: Varies
Who: Any student in Years 3-6 (Primary) or Years 7-12 (Secondary) who loves to sing!
Secondary String Ensemble
Rehearsals: 7:20am to 8:20am, Thursday
Location: MPC Music Room
Instruments: violin, viola, cello, double bass
Worship Ensemble
Rehearsals: 8:20am to 8:50am, Thursday
Location: MPC Music Room
Who: Any interested student playing string instruments, guitar, bass, percussion is encouraged to express interest.
