Our Philosophy and Approach

We take a holistic approach to learning and development, blending outdoor and nature play, and mixed-age learning, supported by our Christian values. Through daily experiences, our children grow in respect, gratitude, and kindness, learning to care for themselves, others, and the world around them.

From the very beginning, we aim to raise compassionate young people who will grow into thoughtful members of their future communities.

Programs and Rooms

We welcome children from 12 weeks to kindergarten age, nurturing their growth across three purposefully designed learning rooms:

• Banksia Room: from 12 weeks to 2 years of age
• Tuckeroo Room: from 2 to 3.5 years of age
• Waratah Room (Kindy/pre-Prep): from 3.5-6 years of age

• Grounded in Faith: we provide a nurturing, Christian foundation for learning and development.
• School-based Location: our integration with BAC Primary enables continuity of education and a smooth transition to Prep.
• Personalised Care: our smaller rooms mean more focused, individual attention and a closer relationship with each child.
• Mixed-age Learning: our structure allows children to become role models for one another and creates a family-like atmosphere. The continuity of care this enables allows children to build deeper relationships with one another and their educators.

Our Facilities

The Brisbane Adventist Early Learning environment supports growth and exploration in our children by providing safe, nurturing spaces for learning, rest, and play. Our three learning rooms cater to specific stages of early childhood: from 6 weeks of age through to Kindy – and offer the benefits of age-appropriate mixed-age interaction.

Outside, children have access to a thoughtfully designed natural space featuring real grass, a large playground, water play, and a sandpit. This sensory-rich outdoor environment encourages exploration, physical development, and a strong connection with nature—providing daily opportunities for children to engage their senses, build confidence, and develop social skills in an open and stimulating setting.

Our team of dedicated staff are committed to nurturing the young minds of the children in our care. Our experienced educators hold relevant qualifications in early childhood education and participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in child development and learning.
