Term 2 Sport Results School Cross Country, T2 Congratulations to the 33 students who represented BAC at the district cross country recently. This has been our best District Cross Country performance. Passion, Dedication, Hard Work: A Teacher's Journey to Touch Football Success
We are thrilled to announce that our very own Mr Martin Rutkowski, HPE teacher and Sports Director here at BAC, played at the Inferno Nationals Touch Football championships in Coffs Harbour recently. Selected in the Brisbane Cobras’ National Men’s 30s division, his team played with great form, which gave Mr Rutkowski the opportunity to use his speed and agility to score multiple tries on the wing. Universities Showcase at BAC this week
Yesterday, ambassadors from ten Queensland and interstate universities and representatives from Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) and TAFE Queensland presented options and information regarding post-school study to Senior students at BAC. 2023 Secondary Swimming and House Results
BAC students shattered no less than 20 swimming records this year at the Secondary Swimming Carnival earlier this month. It was a great start to 2023 sports, and students swam their hearts out for a Stradbroke win in the cumulative annual House competition. Fraser and Moreton will get their chance to even the score at other sports carnivals, including the Upper Primary Swimming Carnival on Thursday, 9 March.
Joshua catches the wind in his sails
Joshua Lowther completed a successful voyage on the tall ship South Passage last month. Setting sail on January 14 from Manly, the Year 11 student from Brisbane Adventist College joined a crew of other young Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award candidates on an experience offered by The South Passage Foundation. We are excited to showcase our new PE and Sports uniform. Our aim was to create a uniform of increased quality, comfort and flexibility, while maintaining affordability. Last night at Customs House, our very own Physics teacher, Clinton Jackson, joined 41 other Queensland teachers receiving the most advanced level of professional standards for teachers: Lead Teacher.
