We are pleased to offer students the opportunity to learn from expert musicians across a range of instruments, as well as voice and music theory through our Instrumental Music Program. This program is extra-curricular and is offered in addition to our curricular music program.
Private music tuition is currently available in the following areas:

Instrumental Music: Our Instrumental Music Coordinator is pleased to work with you to assess your child's suitability for a particular instrument, or voice lessons. You can arrange this by contacting us at music@bac.qld.edu.au. You may also go ahead and enrol your child in instrumental tuition or voice lessons by completing the relevant enrolment or expression of interest form below.
Instrumental music and voice lessons operate in term blocks. Enrolment and withdrawal from the program is managed by BAC.
30-minute lessons:
Fees are invoiced directly through your Specialist Instrumental Music Teacher at the beginning of each term and are payable by Week 3.
Band and ensemble levies:
Enrolment from term to term and year to year is automatic. Lessons will cease upon the completion of an Unenrolment Form or in circumstances where school fees are in arrears.
Rehearsals: 7:20am to 8:20am, Wednesday
Location: MPC Music Room
Audition: Any student playing an instrument from the string family (violin, viola, cello, double bass) is invited to audition. Lessons with a BAC string teacher may take the place of a formal audition.
Rehearsals: Weekday lunchtime
Location: Varies
Audition: Any student who loves to sing!
Rehearsals: 7:30am to 8:30am, Thursday
Location: MPC Music Room
Audition: Any student playing an instrument from the string family (violin, viola, cello, double bass) is invited to audition. Lessons with a BAC string teacher may take the place of a formal audition.

Location: MPC Music Room
Audition: Any interested student playing string instruments, guitar, bass, percussion. Sight reading not essential.
