Welcome to BAC 2010

I trust you have enjoyed the holiday break and are ready to start a new year.
 
We welcome all our students, especially those who are new to BAC. We would also like to remind parents and students, of important information needed prior to the start of school.
 
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Our first day of school is 27 January, and all students must be at school before 8.35am in full uniform ready to start class. They should have their lunch and classroom equipment as listed by the Deputy Principals’ in their letters to you at the end of last year. Primary students must be dropped off via Gate 1 or 3 on Broadwater Road, and Secondary students must be dropped off via Gate 6 on Wishart Road. We plan to start classroom learning directly after we welcome back our students in campus assemblies, so we maximise our learning time from day one. Primary students finish school at 3.05pm while secondary students finish at 3.15pm.
 
PRIMARY MEET AND GREET
A reminder to all Primary parents that our annual ‘Meet and Greet’ will be held on the evening of 28 January. Our programme starts at 6.00pm in the Primary quadrangle and all Primary parents are encouraged to attend. We will be providing a vegetarian BBQ and light refreshments, but parents are also asked to bring a vegetarian savoury or dessert. Parents will get an opportunity to see our new facilities, and meet their child’s teacher.
