Little is much when God is in it!
The StormCo crew departed on Sunday morning for their annual Service Trip to Mungindi.  The trip consists of a handful of staff, past students and seventeen Year Twelve students who have chosen to spend a week in Mungindi, serving the community instead of attending Schoolies Week on the Gold Coast.
To plan and shop for such a trip requires experience, which was new for some of the team.  However, when fears and anxieties are handed to God and your hands are free for prayer and praise, much happens!
One starts by reaching out with emails and phone calls to see who can help. The following people and organisations opened their hearts to this trip and donated several items. Past and present teachers, parents, and students became part of the planning, collecting and delivery. We have been overwhelmed with their generosity.

  • South Queensland Conference donated 30 team Stormco shirts
  • Sanitarium donated cereals, milk and healthy snacks
  • All fruit and vegies were donated by the Murray Bros
  • RoyalCDS Gourmet Food Company supplied savouries, cakes and dairy products
  • Wallace Bishop and TLR Race Wheels donated the prizes for the triathlon race to be held on Thursday
  • Sue and Sarina in the school tuckshop ordered the bulk of the food supplies and stored them in their fridge
  • Mrs Leeson baked several slices for the team to enjoy

The support of these people, share in the joy of the choice to put others first. Thank you for seeing value in our college and being part of our community in this capacity.
Thank you!
The team look forward to sharing some of their stories and pictures - stay tuned!
