Instrumental Tuition

The Instrumental Tuition Program is an extra-curricular opportunity which is in addition to our curricular music program, and offers students the chance to learn from expert teachers in

  • Strings (Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Theory)
  • Guitar (Acoustic, Electric, Bass)
  • Keyboard/Piano (including Theory)

Our Head of Music is pleased to work with you to assess your child's suitability for a particular instrument. You can arrange this by contacting us at music@bac.qld.edu.au. You may also go ahead and enrol your child in instrumental tuition lessons by completing the enrolment form below.

Performances and Ensembles

BAC has both a primary and a secondary strings ensemble which practice weekly, and our music students and our ensembles have opportunities to perform at a variety of school and community events such as:

  • Weekly Chapel Programs
  • Church Services
  • Assemblies - School special events such as Awards Night and Christmas events
  • Eisteddfods

Enrolment and Fees

Instrumental tuition lessons operate in term blocks with enrolment and withdrawal from the program being managed by The College. Lessons are $285 per term and fees are invoiced and collected by Instrumental Tuition Teachers directly.

Enrolment from term to term and year to year is automatic. Lessons will cease upon the completion of a Withdrawal Form or in circumstances where School Fees are in arrears.
