Special Character
Religious Education
We offer religious instruction as a regular part of our learning each day. While we have students from differing religious backgrounds, we try and disclose to each student the wonderful message of salvation found in a love relationship with Jesus. We have specialist Bible teachers as well as chaplains who provide spiritual support and guidance.
Chapel
We hold a weekly chapel service each Tuesday. This is a time of spiritual emphasis and celebration of student achievement. All students are required to attend and participate in this important part of our spiritual care programme.
Week of Prayer
Our secondary campus holds an annual Week of Prayer where our students and staff focus on spiritual development and growth. Students participate and lead out in worship each morning during the week. Many young people make a commitment to follow Jesus during this time.
Bible Study Groups
Students can choose to study the Bible with a group of friends, and supported by a local Seventh-day Adventist Minister or one of our chaplains. Many students enjoy the spiritual growth experienced during these studies. It is a fun time where students ask questions and get answers based on biblical truth.
StormCo
Students also get to participate in outreach opportunities such as StormCo, which is an acronym for Service To Others Really Matters. Students get to travel to distant and often remote communities and minister through practical and service oriented activities such as painting houses, cleaning yards, and doing repairs and maintenance. |
