Principal's Message

Welcome to our new staff and an
exciting term for BAC

The first half of the year has gone by so quickly and our students are now enjoying a well-earned break. Whatever you are doing over the next two weeks, I trust you will be safe and that you will enjoy this time of refreshment with your family and friends.

At the end of term 2 we were saddened to farewell Mrs Benard and Mrs Davey from our Support Staff team, and Mr Skinner from our Primary campus. In their place we are pleased to welcome Mrs Maree Jackway (Secondary Library Assistant), Mrs Jenelle Dowling (Secondary Teacher Aide) and Miss Antonia Ludwig, who is replacing Mr Skinner as the teacher for 6S. Mr Brenton Hooper will also be working part-time as our IT Support person and we welcome him to BAC too.

I will be away on long-service leave during the first two weeks of term 3 so I am looking forward to some long awaited time off. However, I am also looking forward to returning to an exciting term of learning at BAC. I am especially excited about starting our building project which will see the construction of our new Admin building and Prep Centre. We received the news last Friday that our Development Approval had finally been granted by Council so the project starts in earnest now. Soon you will see physical signs of development but we will also keep you updated on progress via our newsletter and this site.
