THE SCHOOL DAY
The official school day begins at 8:45 am and finishes at 3:05 pm. Supervision is provided from 8:15 am before school and until 3:30 pm after school.
Early Arrivals
Students who arrive at school prior to 8:15 am will be taken to Outside School Hours Care (OSHC). The cost for this service will be the responsibility of the parent.
Late Arrivals
It is important for students to regularly arrive at school prior to the official start time as this allows a smooth and settled start to the day, and enables students to hear any announcements or changes to their day. Late arrival at school is often especially stressful for younger students. If a student arrives at school after 8:45 am, they are to go directly to the Administration Office to be signed-in before reporting to class.
Early Pickup
If you need to pick up your child prior to the normal departure time, they are to be collected from the Administration Office and officially signed out by a parent or caregiver. Giving the office prior notice, if you are able, will save time when you arrive.
Late Pickup
Supervision is provided until 3:30 pm each day. Any students who have not been picked up by this time will be taken to OSHC. The cost for this service will be the responsibility of the parent.
Changes to Transport Arrangements
Please notify the office via phone or in writing if there are any changes to the regular transport arrangements for your child. Teachers are unable to accept a student’s word as being official notification of a change to regular routine.

SPORTS UNIFORMS 2012 - WHAT DAY SHOULD YOUR CHILD BE IN SPORTS UNIFORM?
Primary students wear sports uniform two days each week: on their class P.E. day, and on Friday for Sport. The following information can be used to determine what days your child will need to be in their sports uniform:
Tuesday: PS, PT, 1V, 1H, 2H, 2/3W
Wednesday: 3H, 3W, 4W, 4/5F, 6H, 6M
Thursday: 5C
Friday: all classes Prep - Year 6
Primary students wear their sports uniform for the entire day both days. Please note that the transition to the new sports uniform (navy and white) was completed last year. The 'old' sports uniform is not considered uniform and should not be worn to school. Thank you!
MOBILE PHONES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES
If circumstances necessitate a student bringing a mobile phone to school, it is to be handed in to the office at the start of the day. Mobiles may be collected when leaving in the afternoon. In emergencies, parents needing to communicate with students during the day may do so by calling our Administration Office. Students are not to keep mobile phones in their desks or school bags during the day. The same applies to iPods and other electronic equipment.
BRINGING MONEY TO SCHOOL
Students are discouraged from bringing large sums of money or other valuables to school. Parents are asked not to send fee payments with children to school. The College cannot take responsibility for lost or misplaced monies, valuables or fee payments brought to school by students. If it is unavoidable that your child brings a large sum of money or valuables to school, please instruct them to hand it directly to the Administration Office for safekeeping.
SICKNESS
Parents are advised to keep students at home if they are sick until they are well enough to return to school. Nursing an individual at home to full health is in the best interests of our entire student population and insures sickness is not shared around.
Primary students who become too sick during the day to participate in classes will be directed to our sick bay. Students will remain under supervision there until they are either feeling better and ready to return to class or their parents have been contacted for early pickup. Parents collecting students early due to sickness are asked go directly to the Administration Office.
In the unlikely case of an emergency needing professional or emergency medical attention, the school will act in the best interests of the student and make every effort to contact and inform the parents or caregiver.
